NI conference gets ready to welcome big name speakers
The largest local dental conference in Northern Ireland is set to welcome two big name Irish speakers to the Waterfront Hall in Belfast on 30 September.
Martin Kelleher and Andrew Wallace will be the main dental speakers at the annual event, which this year has the theme of ‘Profitable dentistry without a bur’.
Wallace, a general dentist with a special interest in prosthodontics, cosmetic dentistry and orthodontics at Bachelors Walk Dental Surgery in Lisburn, will open the conference with a talk on ‘Orthodontics for general practitioners’.
He will be followed by Kelleher, who will present on ‘Bleaching and bonding: secrets and lies’ before lunch. Afterwards, his second talk will be ‘Minimally destructive cosmetic solutions for smile problems’.
Kelleher, who graduated from Dublin in ı97ı, is a consultant in restorative dentistry at King’s College London Dental Institute. He is also a dental fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow and of the Royal Colleges of Edinburgh and England, and is on the GDC specialist lists in Restorative Dentistry and Prosthodontics.
The final speaker of the day will be marketing strategist Jonathan Fine, who will present a talk on ‘Ethical marketing for cosmetic dentistry’.
