MasterClass in Removable Prosthodontics – Saturday 6 April at RCSI
Join colleagues for a very exciting day of Removable Prosthodontic Principals and Fundamentals, covering skills critical to providing excellent care in Removable Prosthodontics in Practice.
The pathway of the day is short lectures followed by hands-on participation, putting these skillsets into practice. The tutors will bring a wealth of experience in clinical and laboratory skills that can stand to you every day in practice.
The course will benefit all dental practitioners no matter what stage of career, in terms of introducing new concepts or reaffirming trusted methods. The goal is to provide strong review and application of skillsets that are required on a daily basis.
Course Aims: To provide a technique review for fundamental principals in Removable Prosthodontics, covering clinical and laboratory skills. The hands-on aspect of the course facilitates application of these skills. The direct interaction with the tutors through the hands-on aspect is aimed to maximise the benefit of the didactic and clinical experience. The skillset of understanding ideal tooth position and alignment has such crossover in terms of all aspects of Fixed and Removable Prosthodontics and Restorative Dentistry.
Course Objectives: At the end of the course, the participants will be very familiar with principals and practical application of fundamental skills in Removable Prosthodontics, including ideal setting of anterior teeth, denture repair, addition to existing denture, and fabrication of edentulous custom trays. The discussion component will have offered useful two-way interaction on clinical challenges that the participants might face in their daily practice.
