UCC graduate picks up award at Latvian conference

Cardiff University senior clinical lecturer and UCC graduate Dr Chris Lynch has been awarded an ‘Excellence in Dental Education’ Award at the recent Association for Dental Education in Europe (ADEE) Annual Conference in Riga.

With applications from all over Europe, three awards were made in the ‘Mature’ (Senior) Educator category, of which Dr Lynch was one recipient.

The aim of the award is to provide international recognition of excellence in dental education.

Dr Lynch is a reader/consultant in restorative dentistry at Cardiff University School of Dentistry. He is also the editor-in-chief of the Journal of Dentistry and an elected board member of the Faculty of Dentistry at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland.
