DDUH lecturer becomes RCSI vice-dean

Senior lecturer has been appointed vice-dean of the Faculty of Dentistry at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland

Dr Osama Omer, senior lecturer consultant in restorative dentistry at Dublin Dental University Hospital (DDUH), has been appointed vice-dean of the Faculty of Dentistry at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI).

Dr Omer joined the staff at the DDUH in 1991 as a lecturer/registrar and became a senior lecturer/consultant in 2001. He obtained his Fellowship of Dental Surgery (FDS) from the RCSI in 1993 and in recent years became a board member in the Faculty of Dentistry.
